The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) hosted their annual NAB Show in Las Vegas last week. Steve was able to attend the show and has an exceptional experience. The podcasting space is growing in both professionalism and financial inputs and the broadcasting industry is taking note. This is creating a convergence that will prove beneficial for both industry. Steve highlights how NAB is helping broadcasters integrate technology into their processes and how technology is improving the broadcast and broadcaster at the same time.

Eric Schmidt, Executive Chairman of Google, made a proclamation a few days back – “By the end of the decade, everyone on Earth will be connected.” Well…that is some very lofty ambition looking into the future only 7 years. Aside from the glaring issues of health, poverty, shelter, food, education, income, water, finance, and equality (just to name a few important issues), it is Schmidt’s objective to add connectivity to the equation and make that the priority issue. We think the idea is impossible, outrageous, and ridiculous. Listen in to hear why.
