2. Social Networks Consume 22% Of Australians’ Time Online
It’s great to get a feel for social networking domestically but it’s time to discuss the trends and stats internationally. A new study shows social networking has increased in Australia by nearly 6% from December 2009 to December 2010. Facebook ranked as #1 in usage followed by Microsoft and Google sites.
Blog World has decided to move their event from beautiful and crazy Las Vegas to the glitz and glamour of Los Angeles. Blog World is hoping to streamline some events and make the experience easier and more friendly for attendees. So, will the glamour of LA be enough to live up to the experience and hype of Las Vegas?
The first service pack for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 is now available via Windows Update. Two new features are available to Windows Server 2008 R2 users: Dynamic Memory for Hyper-V & RemoteFX. Mikee and Steve break it down and Dave remains quite on the issue (as usual).
5. MacBook Pro Preview
New MacBook Pros are out. Some of the newest features include Thunderbolt I/O, dual-core processors, quad-core processors, AMD Radeon graphics, and FaceTime HD camera. You may wanna check ‘em out soon. Apple continues to release some pretty quality products.
6. Windows Phone 7 update woes
WP7 update woes are being reported from tons of people. The update to some Samsung models is known to brick some phones, causing the owner to return WP7 to the store for a replacement. Mikee provides some insight into the situation and some helpful hints.
